handsAbout Us

Are you new to the church or to Jersey? If so, you are very welcome at Jersey Baptist Church!

Jersey Baptist Church, is a church made up of people from all walks of life. We love to see new people and are confident that you will feel right at home. We have two gatherings on a Sunday, each lasting just over an hour, Our main family service is at 10.30am (ever Sunday) and in the evening at 6 pm (during term time) we host a service called Vauxhall Talks where we explore various theological, ethical and ministry topics. To find out more about Sundays please do chec out our New to Church page!

Jersey Baptist Church is an evangelical church, which means that we are a church that loves the Gospel (the good news about Jesus) and the Bible. While our church is very much a church for St Helier and Jersey, we are also a member of the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (FIEC) which is a growing movement of over 500 churches in Great Britain.

As well as our Sunday Services we have other things going on throughout the week -

  • Sunbeams (our mums and tots group) meet on Tuesday mornings from 9.30am till 11.30am during school term-time.
  • Home groups meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Thursday during the day.
  • Fortnightly afternoon teas on a Friday.

So, whether you are a curious visitor (perhaps unfamiliar or sceptical about Christianity) or a convinced believer (whatever your culture or denomination),  you can be sure of a warm welcome and lots of gentle encouragement to enjoy God and the salvation he offers by grace through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Do come and visit us - and, if you get the chance, introduce yourself to a member of our leadership team; it would be great to meet you!
