‘Christianity Explored’ gives you an opportunity to explore Christianity in depth in a relaxed and cringe free environment so that you can come to an informed conclusion of your own on the world’s most popular faith.
‘Christianity Explored’ is an 8 week course put together by Rico Tice and the team at All Souls Church at Langham Place, London. See www.christianityexplored.org.
You meet once a week for a meal, to hear a talk, and then to discuss and ask questions. Between meetings there are Bible studies you can do on your own based on Mark’s Gospel.
‘Christianity Explored’ courses in Jersey are run by members from several churches across the island, including Jersey Baptist Church.

Objectives
The course will provide you with a clear understanding of what Christianity is so that you may make an informed choice. That way, if you reject Christianity it will not be out of ignorance. The course will also provide you with some answers to frequently asked questions, such as:
- Is God really out there, and if so what is He like? Surveys show that 70% – 80% of the population believe that there is a God but they have no idea how to relate to him
- Don’t all religions lead to God?
- The Bible appears to be a book of ancient writings – is it really relevant today?
- What is the meaning of our lives on earth?
- Where do I belong in the whole scheme of things?
- Why is there pain and suffering in the world?
- Isn’t the devil make-believe?
- Sin – what does this really mean? Isn’t just a bit of innocent adult fun?
- What happens when I die?
- If God is loving, isn’t everyone going to heaven when they die?
- Doesn’t leading a good life ensure you a place in Heaven?
- What do I have to do to become a Christian?
- Do I have to go to Church to be a Christian?
