Church Contacts
We believe in ‘every member in ministry’ – in other words, taking the analogy of different parts of the human body that Paul used in the Bible, that every member of our fellowship has a role to play if we are to function properly.
-
Baptised Christians who choose to make Jersey Baptist Church their home become members and church decisions are made by membership vote, according to the Church Constitution.
-
The membership appoints a full-time, salaried Pastor who takes particular responsibility for ensuring that we remain consistent with the teachings of the Bible. Our current Pastor is David Prothero (Home Tel: +44 1534 610442, Mobile: +447797963358 or email David).
-
The Pastor is a member of an eldership team which is comprised of a group of men who are elected by the membership of the Church to serve for a 3 year term of office. The current Elders are:
- Adam Clarke (Tel: +44 1534 630971 or email Adam)
- Simon Clarke (Tel: +44 1534 730004 or email Simon)
